Designed to foster a sense of home, it can help reduce anxiety and foster a sense of belonging, making it easier for those attending support groups to open up and share their experiences. By using familiar elements such as cosy seating, providing storage and wall space to decorate allows support groups to provide personal touches to the space . The aim was to create a relaxed atmosphere that promotes connection and trust among group members, to allow a person to lower thier gaurd and to be open about what is really going on in their life. This allows for larger gatherings to create a sense of community. Group interactions are crucial in creating a supportive network but more importantly for a person to know they are truly not alone.

Designed in the style of a living room. This purpose is to provide comfort for families and those that have to break the devastating news of cancer. A home away from home a term I use for this room. Often when the news of cancer has been told often in a family home, the cloud of emotions lingers in the space changing the atmosphere in the house. When emotions are high a person could feel trapped in their house, unable to drive or leave in a state of shock, confusion, angry and sadness but can feel the need to leave the house. By providing this room allows families to take time to sit with each other and if they want they can explore the other spaces to understand wigs and to break the stigma about wigs being a bad part of having cancer.

This room is all about the kids and teens, this room is simple and allows the kids and teens to decorate the walls with posters, art and photos ect. A smart board is placed on the back wall and allows the fun of games and the enteriment to have movie sessions the table in the middle is designed to fold up and be hocked to wall to allow more space. Designed in the purpose for kids/teens to connect and make freindships. To have conversations with others who understand best about their sistuations.
