The Butcher’s Sausage
The Butcher’s Sausage is a fictional pub, invented by me, inspired by my local pub, in Lechlade (my home town).
The three different posters pose as event listings, depicting the on goings at the pub and the behaviour of the locals, with punny people and place names.
Taking influence from classic British wrestling ephemera, I designed the posters to resemble the same theatrical aesthetic, to highlight the fictional boozer’s conflicts.
The posters were produced in The Caseroom, using Letter Press and Omnicrom processes.
I was lucky enough to exhibit the Karaoke poster in the 60 Years of The Caseroom exhibition in Feburary 2025, as well as the Maybe exhibition in December 2024.
