Degree Show 2025

A workshop space which holds a total of 8 users and a member of staff. Designed for a small group, it prevents the space from feeling overwhelming. The open floor space allows wheelchair access and ensures users have enough space to work at their stations and move around freely when learning and washing wigs; the choice of dark timber and colours of blue and green creates a sense of balance within the space, enabling conversations and interactions to happen easily. All sink stations have been placed to allow users to see the staff demonstration area. Workstation 1 has been designed to facilitate wheelchair users and young teens and kids.

This workshop caters to multiple classes, from hair styling and makeup classes to well-being and health classes. Various storage areas mean everything the users will need will be in this space. The simple design means the space is easy to work around, and all users can feel at ease. The table bench allows wig headstand attachment to be easily connected to the table. Designed to allow 12 people to attend a workshop class. The table bench is enclosed around the demonstration area, allowing everyone in the class to see the demonstration close up and at the comfort of their station.
