Creating Future Experiences // Public Health Ecological Group Project
Our World
In 2035, climate change disasters have eradicated large scale farming, reshaping how the public responds to food, their diets and social interactions.
As fresh produce is scarce, the responsibility for health and nutrition has shifted onto the public. Everyday meals within this world are purely for sustenance, not taste. This has resulted in people utilising indoor farming, cultivating appetising food within their homes, and working closely with ecology.
Reciprocity with ecology is displayed through nurturing and caring for the food we consume, and in return the food takes care of our health.
The scenario we have created is a glimpse into a birthday celebration. This dinner is taking place within a tenement block in the city, between friends all collaborating to enjoy the fruits of their labour.
