Previous Collection – ‘Symbiosis’ – 2022
“Symbiosis” is my creative exploration of the idea that through living in chaos, or even death —whether literal or metaphorical—something new and beautiful can emerge. Rooted in personal experience and reflection, the collection draws on emotional and spiritual associations with the colour green, symbolising rebirth, fresh starts, and life itself.
The imagery of being encased, or eclipsed, speaks to moments of obscurity, transformation, and the unknown—times when growth is not yet visible but quietly unfolding. In parallel, the natural cycle of a dying tree’s bark giving life to moss and other plant forms offers a tangible metaphor: decay becoming the foundation for renewal.
By combining precious and non-precious materials, the collection underscores this tension and harmony—where endings give rise to beginnings—and broadens its aesthetic appeal to a diverse audience.
