Komorebi: Blue Series I-IV 木漏れ日

木漏れ日 Komorebi is a Japanese word that means “sunlight filtering through trees.” This series of six photographs is inspired by that idea — soft, changing light moving through leaves, creating shifting shadows and tones

This series explores the emotional and visual qualities of filtered light. The term komorebi becomes both the title and guiding concept for this photographic series.

Through soft gradients, layered shadows, and the use of blue tones, the work captures fleeting impressions of light as it moves through natural space. Their composition is guided by intuition, aiming to translate the sensation of calm and impermanence into still image.
